Miracle

I have so many favourite things and events this week. But the best is last night's Eucharist. Many of our brothers & sisters in the community are back ... and Kuya was

mostly quiet and well behaved! He even needs no more prompting for when to stand, sit, make sign of the Cross... and the best part, when he dances with us and claps to the beat! Felt like God was hugging me, my heart's so happy!

In this photo, before the EC started, Kuya even briefly joined Japheth and Migs... He wrote his name :)

Flashback: I would silently hurt inside when we (Benjo, Migs and I) go to church leaving Kuya at home with Mae. Because he couldn't tolerate the sensory overload (loud guitars and drum, people praying and singing in chorus) and he would run around and sing or talk loudly when everyone was quiet. I accepted that. And just offered everything to God. If it's His will, we can all go to church, as a family, together.

What a huge miracle it is. Thank you God! Thank you Kuya for being strong enough to control whatever struggles you have inside you just so you can sit still and be a good boy in not less than 2 hours! Thank you for our NC way community for being so loving to Kuya.

Happy Sunday everyone!
